How does a heat-resistant box fan work?

Because the motor is not placed in the airflow, unlike other fans, it is not exposed to the high temperatures of the exhausted air. This allows for ventilation even at warm ambient temperatures. While a standard fan would cease to function at these temperatures and would be unable to exhaust heat, this is not a problem for a heat-resistant box fan.

How to maintain a heat-resistant box fan?
